SummerQuest 2018 at the Crane Estate

SummerQuest at the Trustees of Reservations' Crane Estate in Ipswich Massachusetts!

Studies show that children who spend time in nature and develop a rapport with the great outdoors are healthier, happier kids. At SummerQuest, we strive to connect children with the natural world, and to exercise their imaginations as well as their muscles.

The 2,000-acre Crane Estate, our home base, is an ideal setting. Our playground includes a “Castle” (the 1928 English-style mansion designed by David Adler), a long stretch of sandy beach with tide pools to explore, miles of trails through the dunes, a magical Pine Grove with tall trees and a pine needle carpet, and uninhabited islands in Essex Bay we can get to by boat. It’s a child’s dreamscape, and the perfect outdoor classroom!

SummerQuest’s top-notch educators are excited to offer a thrilling array of adventurous Quests for the 2018 season. While having fun is fundamental, our dedication to place-based, hands-on learning is tucked into each quest – we want to encourage your child to stake a claim to the world around us. Our goal is to provide your child with an exceptional camp experience.

So join us this summer! The quest is just beginning…
