The Pan-Mass Challenge Cape Ann Kids' Ride will be one of many PMC Kids Rides held in neighborhoods throughout New England and beyond. Through the PMC Kids Rides program, nearly 6,000 cyclists between the ages of two and 15 will ride between one and 26 miles in mini-bike-a-thons to raise money for cancer research.

Inside the tall field of corn, we have cut several walking paths, creating a Maze with only one way in and one way out. Visitors can enjoy getting lost in the maze’s twisting turns and dead ends trap!
Parker River National Wildlife Refuge invites families to join Katie Hone, The Monarch Gardener, for this fun and interesting one hour program about the monarch butterfly. The program will include a presentation about monarchs with interactive role playing and live animals AND making milkweed “seed bombs” (to take home). Meet, tag and release live monarch butterflies to the wild! This program is geared to younger children and their parents. This program will take place in the refuge visitor center classroom. NO preregistration for this program.

Go to the Accessible Trail parking lot at 40 Asbury Street (left turn just inside the park gates past the old gray farm house) for a FREE drop-in program for ages 6+. Follow the trail fishing signs for a short walk to the fishing spot. Learn how to fish, what fish live in the Ipswich River, and how to catch and release responsibly. No experience or license required.
Join the Friends of the Lynn Woods on this Trails & Sails 2018 walk through to Dungeon Rock to Stone Tower. Lynn Woods Reservation is the second largest municipal park in the greater Boston area. This 2,200 acre forest reserve consists of ponds, wetlands, streams, deciduous & evergreen forest and rocky ledge. The ponds provide the drinking water for the residents of Lynn and surrounding communities. Wildlife abounds in the forest. More than an aquifer, wildlife preserve, wilderness experience, Lynn Woods is a unique adventure.

Join Beverly Main Streets on THE BLOCK, their downtown street parties series. One block of Cabot Street will be closed so guests can walk around, meet up with friends, and listen to live music. Food, beer, and wine will be sold by local restaurants set up on the street in the middle of the festival. Three local bands will perform at each block party! There is a suggested donation at the gate of $5 per adult.
This 7K is a challenging run (sometimes a trail run) around the amazing Goose Cove reservoir in Gloucester. The Race starts at the O’Maley Middle School parking lot. Awards will be given to top 3 M/F winners in the below age groups 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
