Run through Boo-tiful Historic Salem! Get your best running costume ready for the 11th running of this annual Salem Haunted Happenings Event. A great way to begin your day of Halloween fun in Salem. The North Shore Cancer RUN will feature a 5K and 10K road race starting at the Cove Community Center in Beverly, MA. Both routes are along the scenic Beverly coast and are “out and back” courses. The cost to participate is $30 prior to the race, $40 on race day.
Join the fun for the annual Wild Turkey 5 Mile Run in downtown Salem Massachusetts Thanksgiving morning and raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem! This is the largest race on the North Shore, with 2,000 anticipated participants.The race starts this year on Essex street near the Peabody Essex Museum and runs down Derby Street thru Winter Island around the Salem Willows. The Revere Beach Partnership is pleased to present the Great Pumpkin Dash Revere Beach Fall Festival and 5K. Join us as we run from Kelly's Roast Beef to Elliot Circle and back in our fourth annual 5K. Wear your festive gear! We will have prizes and giveaways for those in costume! The goal of this race is not to achieve the fastest time, it's survival! Runners will follow the designated course while encountering a terrifying array of the finest Zombies Salem has to offer! Runners will be wearing a flag belt, similar to the ones worn in flag football. The zombies will try to grab the flags off the belt, which ‘kills’ the runner. Once a runner looses all three of their flags, they are ‘dead’. Dead runners will still finish the course and will receive a medal, and anyone who has any flags left after they finish are ‘alive’ and will receive a medal with a “survivor” ribbon attached.
Come race the Festivus 5k in downtown Salem Massachusetts and raise funds for the Northshore Education Consortium of Beverly to help them purchase technology to assist and educate children with autism! Festivus 5K (F5K) for Autism is a yearly Festivus-themed holiday race through historic Salem, MA. The event is sponsored by Friends of North Shore Education Consortium. To date, F5K has raised over $80,000 to help children with autism and their families. The 2018 race will raise money to help the North Shore Education Consortium of Beverly, MA educate students with autism.
The third annual Run for Amy Memorial Trail Race will be along the beautiful landscape Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA. The race, in memory of Amy DiAdamo Foster, is meant to celebrate her life through embracing her passions of both running and spending time outdoors. Equally as important to Amy was the opportunity to gather friends and host a great party so don’t plan on leaving after your race, as music, food and libations are part of the festivities! The race is intended to be casual – running through the trails of Appleton Farms, a mix of single track trails and dirt roads, with some beautiful views along the way. We wouldn’t really be honoring Amy’s memory if there wasn’t some form of competition involved… prizes awarded for top adult & child 5K/10K finishers.
