The Methuen Ballet Ensemble will interpret Peter Pan at the Firehouse Center for

Methuen Ballet Ensemble will present the tale of Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up! Join Peter as he takes Wendy, John, and Michael Darling on the greatest adventure any siblings have ever had! Peter whisks the children off to Neverland where they meet the lost boys, Tinker Bell and Princess Tiger Lily. Together, they wage fierce battles against the evil Captain Hook and his band of pirates. Will Peter Pan return the Darling children safely to their home? Come to the Firehouse Center for the Arts to find out!

Long a traditional favorite, Methuen Ballet Ensemble brings the holiday classic, "The Nutcracker" to Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport, Massachusetts just in time to kick off your holiday season.  Come to a family friendly matinee geared towards families with young children who want to experience the magic of the clasiic holiday tradition or join the cast for a gala reception which will be held in the main lobby of The Firehouse at 6:00 p.m. on November 24th prior to the 7:00 show.

A Midsummer Night's Dream has been delighting audiences for well over 400 years but is still fresh and sassy as ever. Now Anna Smulowitz will put her directorial panache on this play this summer at the Firehouse Center for the Arts.

The Wizard of Oz is retold through dance at the Firehouse Center for the Arts

The Methuen Ballet Ensemble retells the story of Dorothy's journey to the magical kingdom of Oz! After a tornado blows through the farm that Dorothy calls home, she awakens and utters those memorable words: "... I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more. ..." Trying to find her way home Dorothy meets Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion and together they set off on the yellow brick road.

Draw Me a Story: Children's Book Illustrators Reception

Children can come dressed as their favorite children's book characters, they'll create a block print with children's illustrator Leslie Evans, make collage art with museum educators and meet children's authors Giles LaRoche, Pat Lowery Collins and Leslie Evans at book signings. Enjoy special tours of the museum’s 17th-century house based on Giles Laroche’s book If You Lived Here: Houses of the World .
