Motif #1 Day 5k and Kids Fun Run

The Motif #1 5k and kids fun run takes place on Motif #1 Day in Rockport, Massachusetts

This 5k Road Race and Kid's Fun Run is a great way to kick off Motif #1 Day! The 5k road race and 1 mile fun run that starts and ends at T Wharf in beautiful downtown Rockport. Run the race and then spend the day with your family enjoying the fun, food and entertainment of the day-log festival.

The funds raised by the race will go to support health and wellness programs at the Rockport Public Schools Health and Wellness Programs.  Runner and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. The race will be followed by a day of festivities in downtown Rockport.

Cape Ann Kids' PMC Bike Ride

Kids are encouraged to ride their bikes to raise money for the Pan Mass Challenge in Manchester

The Pan-Mass Challenge Cape Ann Kids' Ride will be one of many PMC Kids Rides held in neighborhoods throughout New England and beyond. Through the PMC Kids Rides program, nearly 6,000 cyclists between the ages of two and 15 will ride between one and 26 miles in mini-bike-a-thons to raise money for cancer research.

The Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive is the outgrowth of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ tradition of community service, a tradition exhibited repeatedly by members of the letter carriers’ union over the years. These carriers, who go into neighborhoods in every town at least six days a week, have always been involved when something needed to be done, whether it be collecting funds for a charity like the Muscular Dystrophy Association, watching over the elderly through the Carrier Alert program, assisting the American Red Cross during time of disaster, or rescuing victims of fires, crime, and other mishaps.

The annual Gloucester Pride Stride raises money for Cape Ann non-profits!

The Gloucester Pride Stride is an annual fundraiser walk that helps the non-profits organizations around Cape Ann. Walkers collect sponsorships for their favorite organization, then walk the 5 mile route through downtown Gloucester starting and ending at Stage Fort Park. Come help stuff backpacks for foster children in need in Massachusetts!

10,000+ kids are in foster care in Mass. Fostering Care seeks to support children in foster care and their foster families by providing basic necessities and personal care items. At this event we will assemble items donated into age-appropriate backpacks for kids in transition. We will also have some food, some fun, and celebrate community!
