North Shore Kids' PMC Bike Ride

Kids are encouraged to ride their bikes to raise money for the Pan Mass Challenge in Manchester

The Pan-Mass Challenge North Shore Kids' Ride will be one of many PMC Kids Rides held in neighborhoods throughout New England and beyond. Kids from Gloucester, Rockport, Beverly, Salem, Ipswich, Manchester, Hamilton-Wenham and other North Shore Towns will be riding in this event. Through the PMC Kids Rides program, nearly 6,000 cyclists between the ages of two and 15 will ride between one and 26 miles in mini-bike-a-thons to raise money for cancer research.

The Hamilton-Wenham Friends of the Arts is excited to host the 27th Annual Melody Miles 5k fun run at Winthrop Elementary School, on Saturday, May 27th at 10am. Our talented student performers look forward to serenading you as you walk, run, hop, skip, or dance your way along our scenic local race route.

Derek Hines Flag Day 5k

Run the Flag Day 5k and raise funds for Massachusetts Veterans who have sustained serious injury in the line of duty

The 1st LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund is excited to return to Cashman Park for the 13th Annual Flag Day 5K road race. The 5K walk or run will be hosted on June 15th, 2024 at Cashman Park in Newburyport, MA. We look forward to gathering in person this year as we continue to honor 1st LT Derek Hines and provide financial assistance for Massachusetts’ soldiers, and their families, who have incurred serious, career-ending, and life-altering injuries while on active duty.

Bruins Pajama Drive

Drop off new pajama donations at libraries across the North Shore as part of the Boston Bruins PJ Drive

From February 1 through March 15, Cradles to Crayons®, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations. This years' goal is to collect 10,000 pairs of pajamas. By supporting us with a PJ Drive, you will directly supply new pajamas to the children who need them most so they can stay warm for a good night’s sleep. Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is excited to announce our 12th annual White Ribbon event, Pledge for Change. We invite the members of our communities to gather together and pledge their support to end gender-based violence. This evening event will raise critically needed funds for our Youth Empowerment Services (YES). The Center’s YES programs work to foster healthy, safe and equitable relationships for youth, and help them thrive through meaningful connections in safer communities.
