The Trustees of Reservations is holding a Quest Fest so people can learn all about Questing while taking a journey on their newest Cape Ann Quest! Make your own stamp, grab a Quest Detective booklet, and participate in the fastest growing family recreational adventure this side of the Atlantic. (Confused? A Quest is a clue-based treasure hunt through Agassiz Rock, discovering stories about this very special place along the way to find a Quest Treasure Box.)

This introduction to vernal ponds is presented by Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team and sponsored by The Trustees of Reservations's Ravenswood Park.  Vernal pools are crucial to the survival of salamanders and wood frogs. Join Ravenswood Park as we explore the pools at Agassiz Rock reservation, and learn how you can certify and protect vernal pools. Vernal Pool Certification is a state certification of vernal pools, which have not been covered in the wetlands act, but serve an important roll in wetlands and are crucial to survival for a number of species.

Class is now in session for homeschoolers! Joppa Flats offers monthly focus topics, each with an on-site study session and an exciting field trip to experience our subject firsthand. All study sessions complement the field trips, but one does not require the other.
