Ipswich Museum invites kids and their families to a Gingerbread House Workshop! The holidays wouldn’t be complete without a gingerbread house! Our hands-on, no-baking family class will supply each adult and child with all the materials needed to build your own candy decorated gingerbread house. All ages! We suggest adult assistance for children under 8. Cost: $45 per family (this includes everything you need to go home with a completely decorated house).

He was drawn to the subject in all its forms, from rain, fog, mist and clouds to ice and snow. He also photographed water's effects in tide pools, weathered buildings and erosion patterns.

All families are invited to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire on the first Friday night of every month during the school year for Dollar Deal Night! For just $1/person, families are free to explore and experience the museum as a low cost night out together. The Children’s Museum is not normally open at night, so this is also a special treat to visit after-hours and enjoy creative play before bedtime.
Visit the Salisbury Point Railroad Historical Society for Trails & Sails! Salisbury Point Station was originally built by the Eastern Railroad in 1870 and has since been totally restored. Our Water Street "museum" houses artifacts and Railroad "Memorabilia" as well as a collection of historic photographs dating from the early 1800's to the late 1970's. We also maintain and run seven model railroad layouts, in a variety of gauges. Visitors are invited to drive some of the trains (especially Thomas)!
