The Annual Yankee Homecoming parade is a Traditional New England Parade that is sure to please! There will be a variety of entertaining floats and marchers. Yankee Homecoming and the people of Newburyport all come together to watch a parade on the first Sunday in August. The streets lined with families, friends, and visitors have made this parade a long time favorite summer tradition.
Rockport New Years Eve is an annual family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration of the arts in picturesque downtown Rockport, Massachusetts. Halls, churches, town offices, and some streets are taken over by happy revelers celebrating the New Year. Most of the venues are handicap accessible. Admission to most events requires the purchase of an inexpensive button, and a few events are free. Performances include music, dance, puppet shows, magic, and much more. Activities conclude with a midnight ball drop. Children's entertainment wraps up with an early New Year celebration.

The parade will begin at 3:30pm from the intersection of Sparhawk and Greenleaf Street, and finish up with the Amesbury Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting. Gloucester's Holiday Parade is a great tradition to kick off the holidays! Come enjoy the parade, Santa, and the tree lighting at Kent Circle! Volunteers will line up parade participants at the State Fish Pier on Parker Street at 2:00 PM and will guide them through downtown Gloucester and on to Kent Circle for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The Marblehead Christmas Walk Parade takes place after Santa Arrives in Marblehead. The Parade begins at 11:45 and the route takes approximately one hour, traveling from Front St., State St., Washington St., Five Corners, Atlantic Ave. Gerry Street, down Pleasant St. and concluding at the National Grand Bank parking lot. Participants need to line up and be ready to roll at 11:30am.
A Newburyport tradition! As the holiday season approaches, Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive in the most fitting way for this seaport town... by US Coast Guard boat! Welcome Santa on the Sunday after Thanksgiving as he and Mrs. Claus dock at the boardwalk and begin to parade through downtown Newburyport, then gather in Market Square for the annual Christmas tree lighting and carols starting around 4pm.
