The Yukan Run Triple Threat Race Series is a half marathon, 5K and 1 mile race. There's something for everyone in the race series - serious runners, kids, enthusiasts and even walkers are invited to race! Proceeds from the races go to local charities like The Open Door. Feeling a bit crabby? Then be a little shellfish and join author Brian Benoit and illustrator Marty Kelley to celebrate the release of their new picture book, at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire! Special programs, at 2:00 and 2:45 will include a reading of Crustacean Vacation by the author, art activities led by the illustrator, a question and answer period, book signing, and more. There will even be a chance to take a photograph of yourself as an octopus lifeguard, one of the characters from the book.

Come to Beverly to race for a great cause! All race proceeds will be used by The Running Well Ministry at Calvary Christian Church to build another well in Africa in 2016. The cost to build a well is over $10,000. One well can make the quality of life so much better for hundreds of children and adults, many of whom must spend hours daily to procure potable water. The ECTA annual ECTAthlon is friendly relay competition held at Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield and Hamilton and on private trails in Ipswich where teams or individuals compete in running, mountain biking, horseback riding and kayaking events. This unique event, which will be held on Saturday, June 4th, was envisioned as a way to bring diverse trail users together in a fun and exciting way, and to highlight the incredible network of trails in our area. The June 4th date also coincides with American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day, a series of nationwide events celebrating trails and trail access.
Join in the 2nd Annual Little Pumpkin Duathlon at Salem Willows the first Saturday in October. Children 11 years and under are welcome to compete in this unique Run/Bike/Run in historic Salem. This event will include a kids fun zone, pumpkin painting, relay races.

This 5.3 Mile Loop Run follows ECGA trails along the Great Salt Marsh from the Cox Reservation by Clammer's Beach to Conomo Point along the Essex River. The race is part of the 2017 New England Running Company All Terrain Series. Register by August 12th to guarantee a tech cap!
