Griffin's Gift Run/Walk

Griffin's Gift Fund charity walk run fundraiser during the Danvers Family Festival

Join us for the 2nd Annual Griffin’s Gift Run/Walk on the evening of July 3rd to celebrate the late Griffin Lamar’s 4th birthday with a FUN, family friendly, timed 3.5 mile run or non-timed 1 mile walk. Custom event shirts for pre-registered participants, age group awards, a BBQ and more!!  This event is in conjunction with Griffin's Gift Family Field Day, and is a fundraiser for the Griffin's Gift Fund.

28th Annual Newburyport High Street Mile

The 26th Annual High street Mile includes categories for kids races!

The Winner’s Circle Running Club’s 28th Annual Newburyport High Street Mile will start at Atkinson Common. This is a fast, flat USATF certified straight line course (USATF certification MA07009JK). Separate start times based on age division and sex. Proceeds will benefit the project to update and renew the Newburyport Track at Fuller Field and FONT (Friends of Newburyport Track).

It winds through historic Salem, featuring an array of entertainers that lend a festive air to this profound community event. We encourage you to become a part of this annual celebration of life, hope and courage of all those who have been touched by this disease.

ECTA Trail Jamboree

Essex County Trail Association Jamboree at Groton House Farm in Hamilton Massachusetts!

Come Walk, Run, Bike and Ride on guided trail adventures (for all levels) followed by a party featuring live music, live animals, games, great food trucks and local beer from the Tapmobiles of Ipswich Ale Brewery. Trail activities from 1-3pm and party from 3-6pm. Get outdoors and have fun while supporting ECTA and the 450 miles of trails that we maintain for your access to walk, run, cycle and ride!

Run the Flag Day 5k and raise funds for Massachusetts Veterans who have sustained serious injury in the line of duty

The 1st LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund is hosting the 7th Annual Flag Day 5K road race. The 5K walk, run, or jog will go through the beautiful town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. We will be going back to Cashman Park for our registration and post race reception that will include live music from Dalton and the Sherrif's, food and drinks for all! Funds raise will go to benefit Massachusetts soldiers (and their families) who have sustained serious career-ending or life-altering injuries while serving on active duty.

Start Your Memorial day with a run/walk to honor a local veteran

Start your Memorial Day weekend with a 5k, 10k, 15k or kids fun run or walk to honor the memory of a local Saugus veteran. Scott J. Procopio was on his second deployment as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, having previously served in Fallujah in 2005. He was killed in action as a result of a roadside bomb on the morning of April 2, 2006 in Ramadi Iraq. The Race will start in Saugus Center.

Lungstrong 5k & 1.5 Mile Walk

Join the Lungstrong 5k in Beverly Massachusetts

Support the 5th Annual LUNGstrong 5K & 1½ mile Walk! 100% of proceeds supports lung cancer research at the Mass General Cancer Center under the direction of Dr. Alice Shaw.    This event is more than a run/walk...there is great food, drink and music as well as other activites.  Awards are given to the runners in the top catagories as well as to the largest fundraiser and fundraiser team.  We encourage people to put teams together and teams greater than 10 people are able to have a LUNGSTRONG tee costumized with their team name (for people registered by May 1st).  Lung Cancer Survivors are encouraged to join us and registration is free for them.  Should you have any questions please feel free to contact Diane Legg.
