Manchester Bike and Pedestrian Committee together with Manchester-Essex Rotary Club are sponsoring a bike safety rodeo! Kids ages 5-14 are encouraged to bring their bikes for a bike and helmet safety check. This event will focus on safety tips and training, with an obstacle course and bike handling skills instruction. Snacks will be provided. Sign up via email, or on the day of the event!

Come on in and get your car seat checked to see if it's properly installed and if you need a new one we have those as well thanks to a Grant provided to us From Institution For Savings. We will also have emergency vehicles here for the kids to be able to walk around and look at.

The Ipswich Fire Department teams up with the Ipswich Recreation Department to bring you the Ipswich Foam Frolic! Kids are invited to come for a brief safety talk, and will be able to see the pumper that will create a large foam area for kids to play in! Sneakers or water shoes are required for safety reasons and small children should wear goggles to keep foam out of their eyes.
All children are welcome at Big Mike's Bikes first annual Kids' Bicycle Safety Day at O'Maley Innovation School in Gloucester! We will have an obstacle course that teaches hand signals and rules of the road, a free bicycle safety check, and great prizes like new helmets and bike lights! We will be in the parking lot between the ice rink and skate park. Bring the whole family!
Ipswich Recreation has a great lineup of activities and fun for February Vacation to keep your kids entertained and active with February Fun-o-rama! Boys and girls in grades 1-5 are invited to join in with their friends at the Winthrop Elementary School gymnasium, playground and theater! There will be basketball, floor hockey, soccer, whiffleball, Shipwreck, Capture the Flag, board games dance contests and more!
The US Coast Guard and the Ipswich Harbor Master have teamed up to bring the residents of Ipswich a boating safety course that will provide a great foundation for a Summer of fun on the water! Kids ages 12-15 who operate boats and teens 16-17 who operate personal water craft will fulfill their Massachusetts Boater Education requirement in this course. Attendees will learn about safe navigation, communication skills, weather information, personal water safety and how to handle an emergency situation on the water.
