Mark your calendars it's time again for the CAPE ANN SUP TURKEY PADDLE. This race is meant to be fun and bring people together before most of us spend a few months in hibernation! Profits will go to our good friends at The Open Door, who will help fill the bellies of many Cape Ann-ers this holiday season.
Ipswich River Watershed Association is turning 40 and we’re having a birthday party to celebrate. This free admission event will be filled with fun: a canoe parade, a tug-of-war, an obstacle-course tag game and a relay race. There will be paddleboard, kayak and yoga demos.
Join the fun of the second Annual Kayak and Paddle Board River Race. Participants will launch at Cashman Park boat ramp off Merrimac Street. The contestants will paddle up River at low tide/slack tide around Ram Island, Carr Island, Deer Island and back to Cashman Park with the out going tide, 4.6 miles.
Paddle for Plummer is a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) fundraiser event that includes Elite, Recreational and Fun Paddles. Elites will complete a 5 mile paddle, recreational paddlers will complete a 2 mile paddle and a short course (1 or 2 mile) will be available for fun paddlers. There will be food, beverages, music, raffles, and more. All proceeds to the Plummer Home.
