Summers are a blast at Eurostoves! Our summer kids classes run Monday through Friday (with the exception of July 4th) from 10AM-1PM. You can sign up for one or two classes, the whole week, or several weeks. Each week is a different theme and feature completely new menus for 2016. Classes are intended for kids and teens ages 8 and up. All classes are taught in our spacious, state of the art teaching kitchen and are led by professional chef-instructors. Fifth graders at Glen Urquhart School, in Beverly, spend their year exploring the theme “The Land.” They climb a mountain, visit a granite quarry, look for signs of the last ice age in the local landscape, devise and construct models of earthquake-resistant buildings, and learn about how humans use the resources of our earth. Their capstone experience is a 4-day stay at Chewonki’s Outdoor Classroom in Wiscasset, Maine.

Magic Years Preschool will be hosting a "Family Fun Day" on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 10am-2pm at Tucks Point in Manchester by the Sea. Featuring: face painting, lawn games, arts & crafts, a raffle and more. Cost is $25/per family. Open to the public. Free parking.
WaringWorks at Waring is a long-established summer experience combining learning and fun. In the morning, children have the chance to work in depth in one of seven Majors: Theater, Visual Arts, Video, Science Exploration, Soccer, and WaringWorks Jr. We end the day with recreation and whole group activities. On the final day of the program, we have a presentation of what we have created together! Students age 7-14

WaringWorks Jr. is a half-day program for children ages 5-7 who have completed at least 1 year of kindergarten.
This intensive 5-day, 10-hour writing course in personal essay will help high school students to develop ways of formally expressing themselves in the first-person, narrative voice. We will use the professional writers’ workshop format to explore creative and stimulating writing prompts and effective strategies for organizing ideas and narratives. We will also emphasize public reading and critique as integral to the revision process.
This 1-week course is perfect for students who are looking to improve their writing skills in any way, or are trying to achieve strong prose in essays of 750 words or less, all under the framework of Waring School's time-tested writing program, its pedagogy and its teachers.
