Join Sandra Stolle, former teacher and Chess instructor, to learn how to play the game, learn new moves, and sharpen your skills. The January Chess Club is recommended for grades 2-6th, others with enthusiasm welcome. No prior experience necessary, and players of all skill levels are welcome - both new players and experienced players are sure to enjoy a fun yet challenging session.
The series will run for three Mondays and is free, but space is limited to first 12 children to register.
Join naturalist Marcia Wilson and photographer Mark Wilson of Eyes On Owls while they share their passion for owls! “Who’s Watching You? Owls of the World” will introduce you to the owls of New England and beyond. This multigenerational program is sponsored by the Manchester Public Library, the Manchester Council on Aging, and the Manchester Community Center.
