PMC Marblehead Kids Ride

Kids are encouraged to ride their bikes to raise money for the Pan Mass Challeng

The Pan-Mass Challenge Marblehead Kids Ride will be one of 35 PMC Kids Rides held in neighborhoods throughout New England and beyond. Through the PMC Kids Rides program, nearly 6,000 cyclists between the ages of two and 15 will ride between one and 26 miles in mini-bike-a-thons to raise money for cancer research.

Marblehead Children's Center is a preschool that serves children ages 9 months to school age. MCC offers flexible scheduling and a teacher qualified and professional staff. MCC is open all school vacation weeks and offers fun-filled summer programs.

Children's Chess Club

Kids can learn chess from a master at the Abbot Library in Marblehead!

Learn chess from a master! From learning the movement of each piece to tactics and strategy, this program will give beginners and experienced players ages seven and up a new appreciation and love of the game. Senior chess master Mikhail Perelsteyn will be teaching on Monday nights from 6-8pm.

At Hip Baby Gear, we thrive to focus on the fun of being a parent. The idea for Strollapalooza was conceived with one basic fundamental. FUN! We wanted an event that would be fun for our customers and their children.
So what can you expect over the weekend. We have given it a theme of the Wizard of Oz this year and will take that theme for the entire weekend. Well here is what we have put together for you!
There will be multiple events held throughout the weekend that will be fun for your little ones to attend. This will include music, dancing, face painting, costume contest, a movie and more... Be sure to check out the events area for full details.
Additionally,iIf you are in the market for a new stroller, this is the time you want to come buy as there will be deals throughout the weekend, including ""Tax Free" all weekend long for any order of $100 or more.

Open Chess at Salem Public Library

Kids in grades k-12 are invited to play chess at Salem Public Library.

Kids in grades k-8 who have an interest in chess are invited to come to the Salem Public Library to play chess with other enthusiasts of the game! Novice players are welcome and there are no instructors present. This two hour session is designed to provide a friendly environment for kids to test their skills against other opponents! Come to the library and play!
