This week's program will focus on schooling fish in the North Atlantic Waters off of New England! Our afternoon starts off with self-guided activities, challenges, or puzzles that lead us to our topic for the day. As a group, we'll observe, investigate, and compare wildlife, their adaptations, and the changes that they undergo in autumn. Participants may play the role of entomologist, ornithologist, astronomer, or even glaciologist throughout this series. Each experience will leave your young naturalist eager for the next session.

If so, then this is the class for you! We'll use collage and various materials to make seasonal representations of nature's beauty. Our art teacher inspires students to create "wow" works of art and helps them discover, in surprising and wonderful ways, all the things they don't know that they actually do know and can do.  This week we will have fun with Halloween Spirits!

Whether you're a beginner who'd like to learn to make their own beaded jewelry or would like to learn how to complete basic repairs, this is the class for you! Join professional jeweler and metal smith Pam Farren and learn how to use basic tools, understand and source materials, and complete four different projects over four Sundays just in time for the Holidays!

Kids ages 3-6 will love Imagine Sing and Learn at Joppa Flats Education Center!

This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack.
