In every kind of weather, our favorite thing is to head outdoors to our spectacular local habitats! Each nature exploration will focus on the importance of a sense of place as we explore the ecology, sights, and sounds of our natural landscape. Wildlife, local and migrating birds, collecting techniques, and environmental awareness will be presented in a fun, energetic format that adults and children alike will enjoy.  This week we go in search of migrating horseshoe crabs!

Come to the Rowley Town Common to enjoy a celebration of farms and farming.  In addition to the Rowley Farmer's Market , more than 30 working antique working tractors will be on display for judging.  Enjoy a live music performance at the common's Gazebo by the Then Again Band from 10 am - noon. Come check out the tractors, buy some great fresh produce, learn some Rowley History, have some BBQ and finish it off with some sweets!

Rowley's Farmers market is held weekly  July through September on the Rowley Town Common.  Here you'll find fresh local produce from nearby farms and folks who enjoy gardening.  in addition to a great selection of healthy fresh fruit and vegetables, there's honey, fresh teas, flowers, sweets and even BBQ!

The Rowley Board of Selectmen and VFW Post 5707 will host a ceremony and parade observing Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the VFW on Bradford Street.

The parade will proceed along Bradford Street to Summer Street, past the Town Common and onto Main Street. Ceremonies will be held at both the cemetery and at the Civil War Memorial on the Town Common.
