Come to the Gallows Hill: The Witchcraft and Ghost Experience for a kid-friendly magic show that is gauranteed to make your kids laugh and have fun.  Professor Wunder is a friendly wizard whose show is an exploration of magic, wizardry and Halloween!

Join Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompas on Salem Common!

Grab a blanket and the kids and head over to Salem Common at dusk for an outdoor showing of some favorite family-friendly movies that will get you in the mood for a spooktacular Halloween!  Each weekend Radio 92.9 will sponsor a different movie through October, so come to one or all!

War of 1812 Day at Salem Maritime National Historic Site! Salem Maritime will be celebrating the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 with living history programming throughout the day. Meet some of Salem's 19th century citizens, and hear their views on this controversial war. Family activities and Junior Ranger programs will be offered all day.

Take a FREE guided tour of "Ansel Adams, At the Water's Edge" at the Peabody Essex Museum . Ansel Adams' appreciation for water was never far from the surface. He was drawn to the subject in all its forms, from rain, fog, mist and clouds to ice and snow. He also photographed water's effects in tide pools, weathered buildings and erosion patterns.
