Friends of Troop 2 & Troop 6 of the Beverly Boy Scouts is holding the eighth annual electronics recycling event so you can responsibly get rid of your broken, old and unused electronics. Your materials will be taken by a qualified electronics disposal firm. There is a nominal fee for this service, which supports the activities of Beverly’s Boy Scout Troop 2 & Troop 6.
Make a lantern out of a plastic bottle and tissue paper and then bring it to Santa's arrival at the Hawthorne Hotel and procession down the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall to the Tree Lighting in Lappin Park. Plastic bottles provided or bring your own! SCAM will also be collecting bottles throughout the week, so bring your recycleable plastic bottles down for us!
The Beverly High School Music Department will host its third annual electronic recycling event on Saturday, November 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the BHS parking lot. For a fee, drop off your old electronics at the BHS parking lot. Recycle your unwanted televisions, air conditioners, appliances, phones, fire extinguishers and much more. Proceeds will support the music department. If you wish to have items picked up, or have questions, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 978-712-8146 and leave a message.
