Amesbury Carriage Festival

A fun and educational event in support of the Amesbury Carriage Museum and the Carriage Barn Equine Assisted Therapy Programs - individuals, families, and the carriage driving community are invited to attend. Come celebrate the region's carriage making legacy.

Free indoor & outdoor festivities including live horse-drawn vehicles competing in a Sporting Day of Traditional Driving, plus food, vendors and blacksmith demonstration.

You'll see:

  • Antique Carriages and Horseless Carriages on Display
  • Participating vendors offer food, craft and carriage driving wares
  • Blacksmith shoeing horses
  • Presentations and informal discussions by competition judges

On Saturday night June 30, 2012 adults can enjoy a Bluegrass, Brew & BBQ - live music, local craft beer and barbecue dinner with raffle, auction and more amid antique carriage displays in the indoor arena. Ticketed fundraiser - $25 per person includes dinner and festivities.
