Exploring Land and Water Weekend Festival

PEM hosts a day-long festival focused on exploration, explorers and their tools. Through art activities, demonstrations, a live animal presentation, guided exhibit tours, film and interactive demonstrations, participants will walk away with a better understanding of the explorer's viewpoint and their impact on art, culture, science and society as a whole.

Highlights of the Festival include:

• A Curious Creatures presentation of animals from the American Landscape
• A viewing of Chased by the Light () with Jim Brandenburg
• A demonstration on the construction of a birch bark canoe
• A birch bark canoe launch off of DerbyWharf!
