“Ask Me to Sing” – a concert featuring selections that range from Bach to Broadway. The Honors Youth Choir of Chorus North Shore is an outstanding group of talented young musicians. The choir is fully funded, allowing students ages ten through high school the opportunity to learn and perform choral masterworks and present extraordinary concerts. The singers are selected by audition from communities throughout the North Shore.
The North Shore Honors Youth Choir 2017 Spring Concert
Chorus North Shore Artistic Director, Sonja Dahlgren Pryor, Executive Director, Mary Sepich and Accompanist, Dr. Frank Corbin bring their experience as lifelong educators and musicians to the planning and development of this special group.
The choir represents the diversity of the area with children from public and private schools and several who are home schooled. The chorus is in its 13th year and has received many grants and awards. They regularly sing with Chorus North Shore [a chorus of 140 adult voices] and have the opportunity to sing with professional soloists and orchestra.
Honors Youth Choir of Chorus North Shore is delightful to see and hear. Their combined talent, enthusiasm and energy provide audiences with enjoyable entertainment and outstanding music.
