Our Watery World: School Vacation Week at PEM

Peabody Essex Museum invites kids and families to visit for a special week of activities during April Vacation week! Explore the wonders of our blue planet and celebrate Earth Day with performances, art, demonstrations, exhibits and lots of fun things to do designed just for kids! Meet artists, get a close look at New England's secretive vernal pool inhabitants from the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team , create artworks to take home and more!

In conjunction with PEM’s Interactive Art and Nature Center exhibition Ripple Effect, The Art of H2O, children and families will get a chance to print with bubbles, create and illustrate their own river journal, and see award-winning storyteller Mary Jo Maichack perform an interactive puppet show. Local experts will also be on hand to help visitors gain a better understanding of how much water we use and what we can do to reduce waste.
