For Teens, Design Your Voice

Teen School Vacation Week programs in Salem at PEM

During this teen, youth workshop, PEM instuctures will guide participants through defining a message, designing a visually impactful sign, and leading teens through the block-printing process with the PEM printmaking press.

Empower yourself! What is it that matters to you, and how can you use graphic design to effectively communicate your message to the world? In our first youth workshop, we will guide you through defining your message, designing a visually impactful sign, and leading you through the block-printing process with our printmaking press.

Prints produced in this workshop will be included in a public window installation on Essex Street in downtown Salem. Duplicates will be yours to take home. Snacks will be provided during a break.

This ArtLink program is made possible by The Calderwood Charitable Foundation, William Randolph Hearst Foundation, W. Bradford Ingalls Charitable Foundation, Massachusetts Cultural Council, Salem Five, JPMorgan Chase Foundation and the Thomas Anthony Pappas Charitable Foundation.
