Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center hosts the Walk Against Domestic Violence in Newburyport

The Walk Against Domestic Violence is hosted by Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. We walk because it could be your best friend, your younger sister, the man who works in the office next to you, your child's best friend, or the teenage girl who works in the local coffee shop. We walk because domestic violence doesn't have a face, because it could happen to anyone, at any time. This is a 3 mile scenic walk through historic Newburyport Massachusetts

The Walk Against Domestic Violence meets at Waterfront Park located behind Firehouse Center for Arts.

The mission of the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is to empower members of our community to live free from fear, intimidation, violence or the threat of abuse by provoding support, advocacy and education. The Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center serves victims of domestic violence in the Greater Newburyport, MA area. If you are being emotionally or physically abused, you are not alone. We can help you with safety planning, legal assistance, counseling and support. We are nationally recognized for our innovative programs and services that focus on ending family violence in our communities.
