Weaving Tales of Glory at PEM
Peabody Essex Museum hosts a weekend festival full of fun events and activities geared to make you experience life of medieval Europe. Using performances, demonstrations and hands on activities, families will learn about medieval life and the people who lived during that time in Europe.

- Catapult Workshop
- Story Time - Over at the Castle
- Music and Storytelling - The Minstrel's Revels with Mary Jo Maichack
- Drop in Art Activity - Create a shield with your coat of arms
- Artist Demonstration - Silverpoint and quill drawings
- Demonstration - The Medieval Battlefield
- Presentation: Weaving Thoughts and Images Through Tapestry - Micala Sidore
- Concert: Handel and Haydn Society perform 15th-century chamber vocal music

- Drop in Art Activity - Create a shield with your coat of arms
- Artist Demonstration - Silverpoint and quill drawings

- Drop in Art Activity - Create historically inspired illustrations using embroidery thread.
- Story Trails: The Knight and the Dragon (Paperstar Book) and The Princess Knight
- Performance: The Harper & The Minstral
