Yankee Homecoming Parade 2012

"Newburyport - A Hidden Jewel" is the theme for the 55th-annual Yankee Homecoming and the parade is certainly one of those jewels. This Traditional New England Parade is sure to please, and will host a variety of entertaining floats and marchers. Sunday, August 5th is the big day and this year's committee hopes to attract people from a variety of civic, youth, charitable and other specialty groups to participate in the parade, making it the best ever.

Our parade caps off the week-long festivities and, in our 55th year, is one of the many highlights of Yankee Homecoming. For the first time in the parade’s history, we’ll be televised live on public access television and be streaming live on the Internet plus, we’re excited to have prize money to award to each of the three float categories.
