Lots of festive stuff to get you into the holiday spirit this weekend: Breakfast with Santa, Santa sightings, special live holiday performances like the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, Boston Ballet's The Nutcracker, Kids Matinees at the Boston Pops! and A Christmas Carol - The Musical!.

You can check a few to-do off your list this weekend. Pick up gifts and get shopping done by hitting the Winter Arts & Crafts Festival, Present Seasonal Art Collective & Gifts in Downtown Gloucester, SoWa Holiday Market, Rocky Neck Art Colony Winter Stroll and the 2010 Middle Street Walk; pick up your tree by visiting a local Cut Your Own Tree Farms North of Boston; see some spectacular decorations and christmas lights at the 2010 Middle Street Walk and Zoo Lights at the Stone Zoo; get moving and get outside and North Shore Ski School at the opening day of Bradford Ski and Holiday Skating Exhibition & Learn to Skate.
