It's time to Party! Every second Friday through the month of June, the YWCA is giving parents a chance to relax and enjoy a well deserved night out or in, and the confidence of knowing our highly qualified youth services staff have their kids' entertainment covered! This popular program, which includes an hour of swim plus wicked fun activities like raucous Wii competitions, dancing and karaoke jam sessions, also includes a tasty snack to add to the party vibe. APL hosts Imajine That's 'Magnetic Personality'! Explore the power of magnets with a variety of activities that test their strength! Imajine That from Lawrence, MA brings the fun to us with a wonderful science program. Ages 3 to 6 are welcome! Registration is required.
APL hosts 'Imajine That Presents: Science Explorers: Let it Snow!' Kids will learn about that wacky thing called snow. What is snow? What is it made out of? What happens when you bring snow inside? We'll also make a pipe cleaner snowflake craft to take home! Ages 4 to 6 years old. Registration is required.
Come on down and see what you can build with Lego! Can you make a character from your favorite book? Or a scene from it? There will be bins of Lego out to play with all morning and all ages are welcome to come in (we encourage families to build together!) Registration is not required.
Kids Unlimited and The Adventures of Scuba Jack present Gloucester's Halloween Party, sponsored by the Gloucester City Council. The Fred Kyrouz Auditorium will be decked out with friendly ghost and goblins. There will be numerous events and activities including a dance contest, games, piñatas, a costume contest, prizes, free photos, popcorn, refreshments, goodie bags and much more.
Rockafellas Salem is having a party for the kids this Halloween season! Put on a costume and bring your kids to the fun in the Colonial Hall. There will be a DJ spinning some great music and providing entertainment, fun games, activities and costume contests! Snack and beverages will be served, and all children who attend will receive a goodie bag!
Kids will have a great time at the Hats Off to You! session at Wenham Museum! Take a tour of the 'Crowning Glory' exhibit then make a paper hat, listen to hat stories, play games and march in a kid's parade with your own creation!
Sawyer Free Library has a fun filled morning of Screen-Free activities planned! Come to the library, unplug and play, read and create with friends! The Spring Craft Activities encourages interaction and coneecting with others without the use of technology!
