The Trustees of Reservations hosts the Butterfly Encounter in the gardens at Castle Hill Estate in Ipswich Massachusetts. You will hear directly from a giant monarch butterfly puppet, who will recount the adventures growing up in the milkweed patch, metamorphosis and then the amazing journey across continents.
Part of the Thursday Night Picnic Concerts at Castle Hill at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, this is a great way to get together and have fun with the whole family in an exclusive setting. Castle Hill Picnic Concerts are back! Pack a picnic supper and enjoy an evening of live music on the magnificent Grand Allee. Stroll the grounds and explore the newly restored gardens while you enjoy a night out on the estate. Gates open at 5PM for picnicking.

The Midway at Lynch Park offers a delightful carnival experience with games, a dunk tank, prizes, and more. Amesbury Days is a a 12-day celebration of all things Amesbury that kicks off the summer with fun and exciting community events in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Fireworks, stand-up comedy and a silent disco ball will be just some of the highlights of this years' Amesbury Days celebration. There will be events for the whole family over the course of 12 days with activities and celebrations drawing people from within and around the city.
Studio Two is a Beatles cover band that pays tribute to the early Beatles years, choosing songs from the pre-Sargeant Pepper era. The four lads met in a “cellar full of noise” in the town of Milford, NH. by recreating the Fab Four’s music, instruments, and onstage banter, Studio Two performs favorite hits that will bring everyone to the dance floor.
Families, Friends, and Beachgoers of all ages! Bring your buckets, shovels, and creativity to this cherished festival family event. Register your Family or group to build a castle or sculpture together! Entry is free and open to all ages and families at the start of the event. Please bring your own buckets, shovels, and building tools! We will have some extras available on site if needed. Entries will be judged by a small team of local children, and prizes given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as a Spirit Award.
Chalk This Way is Marblehead Festival of the Arts inaugural event highlighting 23 amateur and professional chalk artists who will transform our sidewalks into a captivating one-of-a-kind arts experience. Sidewalk Art will be distributed throughout the main areas of town and where other festival activities are happening. If you are an amateur or professional artist and would like to display your favorite place in town through chalk.

Paint your own pottery with Hestia Creations, make jewelry with EOS studio, learn about plants from Marblehead Garden Center or participate in choreographed dances with Elloree Jennings from A Performing Arts Academy. Face painting and other arts booths will be available up and down Atlantic Avenue. Enjoy the arts, shopping, and dining in another one of our favorite parts of town!
Friday nights all summer long, don’t miss family fun starting at 7:15 PM on the Salisbury Beach stage! It’s a night full of oldies music on the beach with DJ Ralphie B, including doo wop, Motown, and more. Special guest vocalist appearances make for an unforgettable performance of classic hits! Then from 9PM-10PM, DJ Jeff B will be playing music of today and leading kid-friendly activities – hula hooping, bubble fun, karaoke, dancing, and sing-alongs.
