Join the The Trustees of Reservations and get outside with your family this Father’s Day and celebrate Dad at the Father’s Day Bluegrass Bash at The Stevens-Coolidge Place. There will be a bluegrass band (Damn Tall Buildings - read below about band) for all to enjoy from 5-7PM. The Ipswich Ale Beer Truck will be on site to indulge in some Fathers Day drinks. Food will also be available to purchase to have a wonderful Fathers Day dinner in a beautiful setting while listening to music. Lawn games will be set up around the grounds, such as bocce, badminton and bean bag toss. Bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets and make this the best Fathers Day ever!
Let’s discover what lives in our tranquil New England ponds by exploring Stearns Pond. Harold Parker has 11 ponds, 9 of which were created by the CCC. Learn their function and importance. Wear appropriate hiking shoes. It is recommended that you bring water, insect repellent and sun screen. Appropriate for all ages, must be able to walk several miles. Meet at the Nature Center in the campground. Meets at the Nature Center.
Meet at Campground Nature Center - - There are numerous bird species that make Harold Parker their home. Join the park interpreter for an easy walk on the park’s trails while identifying birds by sight and sound. Appropriate for all ages. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Attend this workshop and learn the trick to making a perfect cupcake and our oh-so-fancy flowers! We promise, it's easier than it looks. This class is with caregiver.

On a warm summer night, Smolak Farms is the perfect setting for a family night of fun. Enjoy the farm stand, greenhouses, educational activities, hayrides, animals and the playground. Smolak has everything you could ask for to have a great night out with the family. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, your camera, and your family and enjoy.
Looking for great coffee, great company, and a great chance to get active outdoors? Join the The Trustees of Reservations the first Saturday of each month at the Stevens-Coolidge Place for coffee and tea, followed by a social walk of the Stevens to Stevens trail, an easy 2.5 mile trip out and back. Come with friends and family, or meet new friends who share a love for nature. We will meet in the parking lot located across from the Stevens Coolidge Place on Chestnut Street.
May is Historic Preservation month and we are celebrating by offering Preservation focused programs throughout the month. May 4th and 14th, join the The Trustees of Reservations with your family for a NEW tour offering of the Stevens-Coolidge House. This hands-on family friendly tour will bring the past to life for you and your child. Stories, photos, and objects allow kids to consider differences and similarities between the past and today.

Join the The Trustees of Reservations or some family fun this April Vacation week! We’ve got activities all week long! On Friday we will close out the week of activities with a scavenger hunt challenge in the gardens. Work together with your child to follow clues through the gardens and discover hidden treasures among the plants.
