Marine Science Center Open House & Beach Cleanup

N.U. Marine Science Center Open House offers educational fun for the family!

All are invited to the Northeastern University Marine Science Center annual Open House! You'll learn from researchers about marine habitats, meet some of creatures living there, explore the habitat in real time, and have a chance to help keep the marine habitat free from debris!  Bring the kids and teach them by example how to be a good steward of the natural world that surrounds us all.

This exciting day includes:

  • Guided Tidepool and Geology walks
  • Marine Research Exhibits
  • Marine Life Exhibits
  • Touch Tanks
  • Tours of the Vertebrate Studies Center, WWII Bunker, and Solar Observatory.
  • Children's activities
  • Beach cleanup as part of Massachusetts Coastsweep 2011
