On Saturday, April 1 at 10:30 AM, come to the library to meet Julie Salamon and Jill Weber, the author-illustrator pair behind Mutt’s Promise and Cat in the City. All ages are welcome as Julie and Jill talk about what it’s like to make a book!

Mutt’s Promise is one of our children’s picks for Manchester Reads. Fans of The Incredible Journey and Shiloh will love this endearing, page-turning adventure. With Luna the dancing dog and her big brother Chief, as well as charming illustrations, this story is a perfect read-aloud for fans of classic children’s novels like Gentle Ben, and A Cricket in Times Square.
