These separate 4-day-long camps are aimed at creating well-rounded lacrosse and soccer players. In each camp we will focus on improving fundamental skills, tactical vision, strength, speed, endurance and agility. Campers will get the opportunity to work with a diverse, fun and talented staff who graduated from Waring and have played at Div. I and III NCAA levels.
The camps will take place on the beautiful campus of The Waring School in Beverly, MA. We will take advantage of Waring’s 3 grass fields, indoor gymnasium, and 150-person theater. These resources ensure that campers will see a wide array of activities and will have a place to continue camp in the case of inclement weather.
In the mornings campers will warm-up with agility drills as well as paired or individual skill work. We will progress into small-group exercises. After breaking for lunch we will have time to digest, socialize and relax. When we return from lunch we will utilize the morning’s skills in small and full-sided game settings. We will finish the day by cooling down, recapping the day’s coaching points and awarding prizes.
Campers must bring their own lunch and reusable water bottle. Each camper will get plenty of water throughout the day. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.
