Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly MA

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm is one of over a hundred schools teaching the Waldorf method in the United States today. Our school serves over 130 children enrolled in Grades 1-8, as well as parent/child classes, nursery, and kindergarten.

Situated in Beverly, Massachusetts just off Route 128 on the historic Moraine Farm, the school currently serves students coming from the following communities: Amesbury, Andover, Beverly, Boxford, Byfield, Danvers, Essex, Georgetown, Gloucester, Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Lynn, Magnolia, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Newbury, Newburyport, Reading, Rockport, Rowley, Salem, Saugus, Stoneham, Swampscott, Topsfield, Wakefield, Wenham.

Waldorf schools offer a unified and holistic approach to education aimed at producing creative, secure, free-thinking individuals who can one day take a responsible place in adult society. The Waldorf curriculum corresponds to the natural stages of a child's development so that form and content parallel the child's own growth. A Waldorf education integrates all the standard academic subjects with a broad background in science and humanities and a consideration of moral principles as well as physical skills.

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm is a member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Each Waldorf school is autonomous and independently run, yet linked nationally and worldwide by their educational philosophy.
