Cape Ann Art Haven

Cape Ann Art Haven is a community space where artists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to develop creativity and confidence through hands on learning and collaboration. At Art Haven, we aim to provide opportunities for children of all ages to have a place to exercise their artistic talents.

Art Haven has a fully functioning darkroom (available for classes and open darkroom time), 10 pottery wheels, painting and drawing supplies, and is soon to house the gallery of The Hive Cape Ann. Also in the works is a professional digital lighting studio and a five machine computer lab with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for design and portfolio work.  One of our most popular programs is family studio time.

Family studio is a time when parents can come and participate in fun artistic projects as well as explore other mediums and interests.  In addition to our normal class programming, we love offering community events that get kids and adults excited about the arts on Cape Ann. Join us for pumpkin carving, ice sculpture building,  buoy painting, and various artsy events that coincide with downtown block parties throughout the year!
