Essex County Greenbelt Association hosts an Exploration Workshop for families at Cox Reservation in Essex Massachusetts!

Essex County Greenbelt Association invites families to Cox Reservation for a fun session that's all about bees! This show-and-tell introduces children of all ages to the importance of bees and other pollinators.

  • 10:00-12:30   Scavenger Hunt, Live Caterpillars, Seed Planting, Insect Science in the Field, Crafts, Snacks, Storybooks, Bubbles, and much more!
  • 10:30  Live Beehive Opening (You can watch from inside a screened tent!)
  • 11:30  Honey Tasting Thank you to our partners: Essex County Beekeepers Association, The Caterpillar Lab & North Shore Nature Programs!

Please RSVP so we can plan for snacks and supplies!
