Boxford Memorial Day Parade

Memorial Day parades, ceremonies and events in Essex Massachusetts.

The Boxford Memorial Day ceremonies will begin at Harmony Cemetary and finish up at the James L. Melvin Green. The schedule is as follows:

  • 7:30am | At Harmony Cemetery | Decoration of Graves, chaplain led prayer, firing squad volley followed by a rendition of Taps.

  • 8am | Round Top (Curtis Guild Camp) | Veterans will gather to remember those who trained for military duty at this historic site.

  • 8:30 | Ancient Cemetery | Placing of flags, prayer, firing squad, Taps.

  • 9am | Parade assembly | Community Center in the East Village, Middleton Road and Elm Street. Units form in parade order. Coffee and donuts will be served.

  • 9:30am | Parade marches to Village Cemetery for decorating of graves, prayer, firing squad volley, Taps, and then marches to James L. Melvin Green.

  • 10am | Ceremony at James L. Melvin Green.
