About Boating Safety | If you are interested in an exciting, in-depth boating safety course, check out this in classroom training. If you are interested in an exciting, in-depth boating safety course, check out this in classroom training.This boating class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a youth boat license or safety certification. Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete About Boating Safely. This is a 1 day [8 hour] essential boating safety training open to kids ages 12 and up, as well as adults. Lunch is provided.
Attendees will learn about safe navigation, communication skills, weather information, personal water safety and how to approach an emergency situation on the water.
Presented by USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 43 of Marblehead, MASS and held at the Palmer's Cove Yacht Club in Salem Massachusetts.
