Wenham Massachusetts Memorial Day Services Parades and Ceremonies

Wenham Massachusetts Memorial Day Services commence with and a Decoration of the Cheeseman Memorial in Pingree Park. The Wenham Memorial Day Parade kicks off at the American Legion building.The parade forms at American Legion building (Wenham COA and Buker School) starting at 12:30 p.m. Parade starts at 1 p.m. with stops at the Veterans Memorial Monument, the Civil War Memorial, and the Wenham Town Cemetery on Main Street.

11:00AM | VETERANS MEMORIAL IN THE CENTER OF TOWN

  • Laying of two wreaths, national anthem, prayer
  • Reading of the names of those from Wenham who died during WWII
  • Hamilton Wenham High School Band
  • Concluding Prayer

11:20PM | PARADE MARCHES FROM CENTER OF TOWN TO MAIN STREET CEMETARY

  • Military and civilian residents of Wenham are cordially invited to march in the parade

12:00PM | CEREMONY AT THE CEMETERY

  • Readings by girl and boy scouts
  • Tribute to Carl Campbell by Captain Bill Wilson USN, ret.
  • Presentation of Honors
  • Hamilton Wenham High School Band
  • Prayers of Blessing by Reverend Sean Bendigo

Refreshments will follow at the Fire Station
