Dr. Robert Melillo is the founder of the Brain Balance Centers and is an internationally known lecturer, author, educator, researcher and clinician in the areas of neurology, rehabilitation, neuropsychology and neurobehavioral disorders in children. He's also an expert in nutrition with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

Driven by his deep interest in and intensive studies of neuro-behavioral challenges he co-founded the Brain Balance Achievement Centers. The Centers implement the Brain Balance Program which Dr. Melillo founded in 2003 to help children with neuro-biological deficits improve their academic, social and behavioral functions. 

In 2004 Melillo published his first textbook [amazon 1441912320 inline]. He also co-authored chapters in three other texts. In addition he has also published several scientific articles. He is the executive director of the FR Carrick Research Institute, a University based research lab that foucses on translatinal research and development in the ares of neuroscience, brain development, ergonomics and rehabilitation. He is also the president and founder of theFoundation for Cognitive Neuroscience.
