The Annual Magnolia Road Race and Fun Run benefits the Magnolia Library!
Magnolia’s 42nd Annual Road Race is a 5k Race to be held rain or shine along a beautiful, scenic route in Magnolia. A 1k Walk/Fun Run will appeal to kids and those not capable of completing the 5k.  All proceeds from the races go to the Magnolia Library.

The Schooner Challenge is a fundraiser for the Essex Shipbuilding Museum!
Hop aboard one of three Essex-built schooners and take part in a fun evening of friendly competition that raises funds to benefit the care and stabilization of the Essex-built schooner Evelina M. Goulart. Join the crew of Schooner Thomas E. Lannon, Schooner Ardelle or and the museum's flagship Lewis H. Story. Activities include: sail raising exercises, sailing around a marked course, man overboard drills, salty songwriting (extra credit for instrumentation), knot tying, best photo competition, and whatever else the captains can dream up!

Wagon Rides are new to Appleton Farms this summer! What better way than to spend a summer day on the farm. Hop aboard our hay wagon and go for a ride past our vegetable fields and out to the great pasture. Enjoy our rolling landscape, maybe spot some cows grazing and enjoy being outside! The ride will last approximately 25 minutes and starts at the Farm Store. The wagon will stop at the Barnyard on the way back for those who wish to get out and see our animals before walking back to the store.
