The Donkey Derby at Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton is a fun way to raise funds for the equine rescue network. The mission of the event is to ENJOY the day and raise awareness of donkeys: They make great pets! They are affectionate, agile & athletic - AND are highly sought after by the Chinese :( If we raise money to save more donkeys - even better!
The "Muddy Leprechaun" Mud Run is a run held in memory of Teddy O'Leary, husband, father, and friend to many in our community and beyond. The run, which started in 2013, is held at Marini's Farm, Linebrook Rd., Ipswich MA.

This year’s event theme, ‘It All Adds Up’ highlights how small changes to our daily habits can have large impacts on our overall environmental impact. This summer, local students who have been a part of Change is Simple Programming in schools, are working in collaboration with Artcie Studios in Hamilton to design a piece that brings to life these simple solutions - and their impact. The design will be unveiled by the students on the night of the event.

The Bridge and Back 10k is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem . The race starts in downtown Salem Massachusetts, crosses the bridge into Beverly Massachusetts and onward tot he Dane Street Beach. Runners then circle back to Salem for the finish on Front Street. Our paddle will be led by Kent Harrop a graduate of the Shalem Institute in Contemplative Leadership and a life-long lover of rivers and paddling. Before entering the water we’ll be introduced to a few simple yet profound meditation mantras designed to quiet our minds.

Join the Ipswich River Watershed Association for their second annual Paddle-a-thon. You can choose to it alone, or take a guided social paddle, and all participants invited to join the party after their paddle between noon and 3pm.
