Salem Massachusetts Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade.
The Salem MA Memorial Day Parade Schedule is as follows:

Memorial Day is a big celebration in Saugus, MA. Come thank our veterans.
Join the Saugus Veteran's Council as we welcome Commander Billie Farrell, US Navy, to Saugus!  Commander Farrell is the first female Commanding Officer of USS Constitution, our Ship of State, in the 224 years of its existence.  The parade will begin at Anna Parker Playground at 10:00 AM and proceed through Cliftondale to Central Street to Winter Street to the Veterans lot at Riverside Cemetery for our Memorial Day ceremony.
The annual Memorial Day Parade starts on Grove Street and continues along Main Street to the Veterans Memorial Green for a service in front of the Town Library.  The parade reforms, and will continue to Pine Grove Cemetery for another service. All residents and especially military families are invited and encouraged to attend. The Proctor School Band will perform.
Museum of Fine Arts Open House free admission event for north shore families
The Museum of Fine Arts will honor Memorial Day with an Open House and will waive all admission fees. Visitors can enjoy complimentary admission to the MFA's galleries, family activities and performances. This year, the MFA offers free admission—including access to the special exhibition “Turner’s Modern World”—for Massachusetts residents. Celebrate the holiday with art and community!

Arts Fest Beverly is a free outdoor festival that's fun for the whole family! Rain or shine. Shop from juried fine artists and crafters and enjoy music and free kids activities! The event is free and open to the public. Artists will be selling bags, candles, ceramics, pottery, children’s items, clothing, furniture, glass, home decor, housewares, jewelry, paintings, pet gear, photographs, prints, soap, vintage items and more. Artists come from all over New England and right here in Beverly, including some of your favorite artists from last year, and new and emerging artists.

Run the Flag Day 5k and raise funds for Massachusetts Veterans who have sustained serious injury in the line of duty
The 1st LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund is excited to return to Cashman Park for the 11th Annual Flag Day 5K road race. The 5K walk or run will be hosted on June 11th, 2022 at Cashman Park in Newburyport, MA. We look forward to gathering in person this year as we continue to honor 1st LT Derek Hines and provide financial assistance for Massachusetts’ soldiers, and their families, who have incurred serious, career-ending, and life-altering injuries while on active duty.
