Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Matinee

Acting Out Productions Presents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport!!

Acting Out Productions present the classic favorite, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, adapted from the fantasy by Roald Dahl, written by Richard R. George. For the first time in a decade, Willy Wonka, the reclusive and eccentric chocolate maker, is opening his factory doors to the public - for the lucky five who find a Golden Ticket in their Wonka chocolate bars. When Charlie Bucket finds a dollar bill in the street, he must choose between helping his impoverished family or taking a chance on his dream.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, another unforgettable masterpiece from the legendary Roald Dahl, never fails to delight, thrill, and utterly captivate. Join a local cast of student actors as they share and celebrate "pure imagination."

Directed by John and Deirdre Budzyna, featuring Kirk Trach as Willy Wonka.

Produced by Acting Out Productions by special arrangement with DRAMATIC PUBLISHING of Woodstock, IL.

Note: Different casts will perform different shows through the run.  Please check the web page if you plan on attending to support a specific cast member!
