Merry-Time at Maritime Gloucester

Children 2-5 and their parents, grandparents, or guardians are invited to play in our Children's Room. The children's room depicts Gloucester Harbor and includes 14 wooden buildings, 6 piers, 5 schooners, a dory, Ten Pound Island Lighthouse and various wooden people. Not surprisingly, a 3-5 year old can play in this room for hours.  One of our educators will also read a seafaring children's book during this weekly event. We hope you can join us.

Maritime Gloucester is a wonderful resource for Cape Ann and North Shore Families! It is many things- a museum, a lab, an education center, an aquarium and a community!  There's always plenty to do and see during the 'on' season, and kids will really enjoy the many hands on opportunities that are presented to them when they visit.  Consider a family membership if you live on the North Shore or visit frequently.  A membership will help support the center, give you open access to the facilities as well as other member benefits, and you'll also receive a member discount while shopping in the Maritime Gloucester Store!
