Written and directed by North Shore native Bo Burnham, "Eighth Grade" is the story of a 13-year old middle schooler "enduring the tidal wave of contemporary suburban adolescence as she makes her way through the last week of middle school—the end of her thus disastrous eighth grade year—before she begins high school." Charming, insightful, and bittersweet, "Eighth Grade" may evoke memories of your own past while providing a glimpse into your child's current experiences.
Join us in the GUS Upper School's Nance Assembly Room on Thursday, November 1. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., the film will begin promptly at 7:15 p.m., and run time is 1 hour, 34 minutes and free movie snacks will be provided!. Students under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent.
