Participants will have the opportunity to decorate their own nature-inspired cookie masterpieces with the help of Sherry Pearl, a professional cookie designer. Saturday, Saturday,Saturday! The 2013 Topsfield Fair is clearing out the Arena to make way for a crazy Monster Truck show! Two exciting shows will be held; one at 5 pm and one at 8 pm. There will also Pit Party Passes available which allow ticket holders access into the arena to take picture with the cars and their drivers. The first Pit Party is at 4 pm before the 5 pm show and the second is at 9 pm after the 8 pm show. There are a limited number of Pit Party tickets available.
Nature journaling is a tool for making discoveries about nature. It involves drawing, but you don't have to be an artist. It involves writing, labeling, and making notes about what you notice and wonder. Above all, it involves taking a closer look. After a brief orientation and introductory exercises, the class will explore the journaling process along the trails of the sanctuary.
