Go on an extraordinary 4-D adventure this holiday season on THE POLAR EXPRESS! When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe. THE POLAR EXPRESS 4-D Experience is based on the inspiring and beloved Caldecott Medal children's book by Chris Van Allsburg.

NCS Winter Concert - The Rose and the Night Star - Matinee
The NCS Winter Concert features the 140-voice chorus, professional soloists, orchestra, and the Greater Newburyport Children's Chorus, all performing classical, traditional and “sing-along” seasonal favorites! The program will highlight Camille Saint-Saëns’ beautiful Christmas Oratorio, various musical settings of Lo How A Rose E’er Blooming, and an exciting multi-cultural piece from South Africa entitled, Hope for Resolution.

Kids Cookie Decorating Class at Marini Farm
A class that will focus around decorating Holiday Cookies. Our little chefs will begin by decorating a holiday craft. They will then use their creative energy and icing to decorate their holiday cookies. Each chef will receive enough cookies to have a snack and take a few home.
- Ages Pre - K and up reccommended (Only children participating need a ticket)
- Event takes about an hour.
- Parents are welcome to stay and help or walk around our christmas tree lot and holiday store.

Santa Claus is packing his boat, checking his charts and heading for Beverly and the site of Washington’s Naval Base. The seaborne Santa will arrive by lobster boat at the Ferryway Public Landing by the Veterans Memorial Bridge and the Public pier rain, snow or shine.

Rockport Boy Scout Tree & Wreath Sale
Support Rockport Boy Scout Troop 20 by purchasing a Christmas Tree or Wreath at Scout Hall, 47 Mount Pleasant Street, Rockport from 9 to 5 on Saturday December 10th and 17th. If you are unable to get your tree home, they will deliver it to you in Gloucester & Rockport. Have some Chowder or a Hot Chocolate while you shop for your tree.

The Paul Madore Chorale 51st Season presents: The Many Moods of a Classical Christmas- A delightful mix of holiday spirituals and popular carol arrangements. This return to the classical repertoire features Saint -Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, Vaughn Williams’ Hodie and works by Shaw, Palestrina and others.

The grounds will be transformed by more than ten miles of holiday lights into a twinkling wonderland with holiday displays, family-friendly activities including a marshmallow-roast, a reindeer scavenger hunt, live performances, a visit with Santa Claus in the Model T, and children can get up close to baby animals, take carousel rides, and more.
